6:8. ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ರಾಜನು ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಭೆಸೇರಿಸಿ, “ನೀವು ಈ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಇಸ್ರೇಲರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

6:8. ತರುವಾಯ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಇಂಥಿಂಥ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ದಂಡು ಇಳಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

6:8. Now the king of Syria was at war with Israel. He consulted his advisers, who said, "Invade at such and such a place."
